Dr. Ahmed was born and raised in Warren, Pennsylvania, receiving her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine (MCP Hahnemann) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She did her internship at Brown in Rhode Island and her residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center.
